JOB TITLE: PREP/ LINE COOK
JOB SUMMARY:
· Responsible for preparation of customer food orders
· Emphasizes quality, appearance, speed and proper portioning
· Maintains portion and waste control using prep sheets and plating standards
· Performs kitchen maintenance and sanitation according to Golden Valley's highest standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Some experience preferred. Golden Valley strives to serve great food with an emphasis on locally produced ingredients. Kitchen staff must be enthusiastic, energetic, hard working and able to maintain pace at high sales volume. Requirements include the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, flexible availability including days, nights and weekends and current Food Handler's card. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
