The Kirchers founded Golden Valley Brewery & Pub to revive old fashioned traditions that are hard to find anymore. The brewery revives a brewing tradition in McMinnville that was started in 1878 by Anton Ahrens and W.R. Bachman of Ahrens Brewing Company. We strive to produce for our customers handcrafted beers of the highest quality and in keeping with the handcrafted tradition, we have a skilled kitchen staff providing a full menu of the freshest handmade cuisine available anywhere. From fresh Oregon seafood to locally grown produce, we use the freshest local ingredients whenever possible. We hope to provide McMinnville with the fine food, beverage, and social pleasures found in the English pub and European café.
