Handcrafted Ales and Lagers X Family Raised Angus Beef
people had time to enjoy the good things in life. We believe in the traditions of fine craftsmanship that add richness & quality to our lives.
At Golden Valley, our craftsmen take the time & care to brew our own beer; make sauces & soups from scratch & house smoke our meats. Using fresh Oregon seafood, locally grown produce & our All-Natural brewery grain and grass fed Angus beef.
Every day, we provide our guests with fine handcrafted beers from our brewery, all natural, dry aged Angus beef raised on our family ranch with spring fed pastures and Golden Valley Brewery grain, organically raised produce from our gardens, and excellent Oregon wines from the great Willamette Valley. Our diverse menu offers, exceptional burgers, dry aged hand cut steaks, pastas, fresh NW seafood, salads, sandwiches, and a full range of entrees. All of our food is made in house from scratch using fresh local ingredients whenever possible.

Our in-house craft brewery revives a brewing tradition in McMinnville started in 1878 by Anton Ahrens and W.R. Bachman of Ahrens Brewing Company. We strive to produce handcrafted beers of exceptional balance and complexity for your enjoyment. In 1998 we announced the release of our flagship beer – Red Thistle Ale – in bottles, so our craftsman beers can be enjoyed at home.
Jesse began home brewing in the 90’s and has made it a passion and career more than 20 years later.

We proudly offer Angus Springs Ranch, all natural beef, grown locally and exclusively on our family ranch.
Free from the overcrowded conditions of conventional feedlots, Angus Springs Ranch cattle are tender raised on 76 acres of rolling, spring-fed pasture on a diet rich in spent grain from Golden Valley's Brewery. Golden Valley grain makes ideal feed for our select Black Angus herd because it contains twice the protein and fiber of regular feed.
Our Angus are raised on an all-natural program of spring fed pastures and premium rations for up to 12 months and dry aged for 21 days insuring beef of exceptional quality and tenderness. This approach to raising cattle produces the finest natural beef available in the Northwest. As few as 12 independent restaurants throughout the country are currently supplying beef produced exclusively for their own restaurant and we are proud to join the list.
ORGANIC PRACTICE GARDEN
We operate a large Organic Practice garden on the ranch where we source the majority of produce for the restaurants during the growing season. Last year we harvested 2,865 pounds of vegetables to use at Golden Valley, this is not a small commitment but we feel that you can taste the difference in the food that we prepare.
